What chemicals are added

We add no sulfides, or stabilizers. We try to keep ours as pure and clean as possible.

Is it gluten free and Non-GMO?

Yes, we source our ingredients as locally and GMO free as possible. There is no gluten in our meads.

How is it best served?

Generally speaking, mead is best served at room temperature. Apollo's Blessing and Honeycomb Holiday taste wonderful warmed and also over ice!

What pairs well with our mead?

Ours are sweet meads and pair very nicely with fruits, nuts, cheeses and even chocolate! Sip a glass after dinner as an aperitif.

How long can it be stored?

Unopened Golden Stag will store indefinitely. The Melomels should probably be be used within a year. We have opened bottles several years aged with no loss of flavor. In fact they continue to age in the bottle and just keep getting better!

Opened bottles can be stored at room temperature to drink at your leisure  but keep them closed to prevent oxidation, They will keep that way for weeks up to months. (We aren't sure, none have lasted beyond a week before being consumed!)
